Next on the review record is Neal's Yard Rehydrating Rose Toner (purchased HERE). I have been using this over the past 2 months as a replacement for my much missed LUSH Breath of Fresh Air Toner (HERE). For those of you who didn't read this post a couple months ago, describing my big skincare change-up, go have a look! It explains my choice to say goodbye to paraben-containing products and make the healthy switch.
This toner I use in the same way I used Breath of Fresh Air. I transferred some of the product from the original bottle to a spray bottle so that I can use the product in two different ways. At night I use the toner on a cotton pad to remove any trace of make-up on the skin after cleansing. However, in the morning I spray the toner onto my face after cleansing and pat into the skin. This allows me to benefit from its rehydrating properties. It feels fantastic on the face, smells wonderful and does a great job at both removing make-up if you want it to, or giving a hydration boost to the skin if that's what you're after. At £15.00 for 200ml it is a bit more on the pricey side, but I cannot recommend it enough and think it is wholly worth the money!
Does it smell of Rose? It sounds incredible and is around the same price of my usual toner, but for some reason I hate the smell of flowers!
